Women in Engineering
For nearly 60 years, the College of Engineering has attracted female students who are intellectually gifted, possess extraordinary leadership abilities, seek a strong community and abide by a core set of values. These students want a school that will foster their development in these areas, and they choose Villanova.
The College consistently exceeds the national average for female undergraduate engineering students. Presently, our program is 31.5% women versus 18.2% nationally. Our commitment to women in engineering extends to our faculty which is 17.5% female compared with the national average of 13.8%.
